Sharpsmart vs. Access Plus

Daniels offers different sharps collectors for patient-facing areas and non-patient-facing areas within healthcare facilities. The main difference is that our patient-facing Sharpsmart container is designed with an inbuilt safety tray to mitigate both overfill risks as well as eliminating unwanted hand access. By contrast, the Access Plus is designed for rapid deposition of sharps, chemotherapy waste and pharmaceuticals in secure areas.
