What level of Decontamination is required for processing of Reusable Sharps Containers?
Reusable sharps containers require Level 6 (lowest) of CDC’s decontamination hierarchy. However, Daniels Washsmart process achieves level 2 (high-level disinfection) in the washdown of our medical waste and sharps disposal containers.
How can Daniels assure customers of stable and secure service?
Daniels Health is part of Daniels Corporation International which operates in seven countries and has thousands of customers internationally and in the USA. Pharmaceutical waste that falls under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976, as amended (42 USCA Sec. 6901 et seq.) should be disposed of into a hazardous waste container.
