What level of Decontamination is required for processing of Reusable Sharps Containers?
Reusable sharps containers require Level 6 (lowest) of CDC’s decontamination hierarchy. However, Daniels Washsmart process achieves level 2 (high-level disinfection) in the washdown of our medical waste and sharps disposal containers.
Is Daniels Health contracted with Major GPO Organizations?
Daniels Health is on contract with all major GPO contracts including, Premier, Vizient, HPG and Intalere. Daniels Health also has contracts with MHA, HPSI, CNECT, Essensa, Acurity, Cnect, Yankee Alliance, Alliant Purchasing, Provista, PSMA Connect, Champs, VMG, Pandion and Innovatix.
Does Daniels have its own fleet of trucks?
Yes, Daniels has over 255 trucks in its US fleet that are geo-tracked for secure tracking of medical waste. Drivers complete all local training including DOT, BBPH, HIPPA, and PPE.
