Georgia Medical Waste Management | Medical & Biohazardous Waste Disposal
When you’ve got Georgia on your mind, it’s hard not to think of peaches, peanuts, Coca-Cola, Gone with the Wind and the iconic voices of Otis Redding and Ray Charles. Sitting on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Georgia neighbors Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Florida and Alabama. Home to about 10.5 million, this state is bursting with history, a unique gastronomical footprint and goobers (that’s peanuts for the rest of us).
If you’re looking for scenic beaches, rugged mountain ranges, waterfalls, theme parks, wildlife, soul food or cosmopolitan cities, the Georgians have it all at their doorstep. From Atlanta, the state’s capital, you can bike, skate, run or saddle up on the ‘Silver Comet Trail’ all the way to Alabama. If driving is more your thing, stop by the world’s largest drive-in diner, Varsity. Set on 2 acres, these guys churn out 2,500 lbs. of potatoes, 5,000 fried pies, 300 gallons of chili and 2 miles of hot dogs from scratch EVERY day! Need to get back to nature? Take a trip to Stone Mountain Park, packed with stunning hiking trails. In summer they put on the world’s largest laser light show and snow tubing is a must in winter. In the spring you must visit Macon, the cherry blossom capital of the world - it's magical when all the trees are on bloom!
If adrenaline is more your thing, hurtle down the 11-storey ‘Georgia Scorcher’ rollercoaster at Six Flags. Try fly-boarding or zoom across the lake on a zip line at Lanier Islands’ Margaritaville or brave the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge. For sports fans, every April, eyes are on Augusta for The Masters golf tournament or catch the Atlanta Braves or the Atlanta Falcons at a home game. If you prefer to participate, the ‘Peach Tree Road Race’ is on every 4th of July weekend.
If size matters, you can’t miss the Jimmy Carter Smiling Peanut, Marietta’s Big Chicken, Ashburn’s Giant Peanut Monument, Expedition Bigfoot at the Sasquatch Museum or paying a visit to the stunning Hindu Temple of Atlanta, the largest Hindu temple outside of India. If mini is more your thing, The Dwarf Castle in Alpharetta, Roosevelt’s Little White House in Warm Springs and Atlanta’s Tiny Doors should all be on your to-see list. Foodies can’t take a trip to Georgia without sampling local delicacies including: snow cream, chicken mull, biscuits and gravy, sweet Vidalia onions and boiled green peanuts.
and then there is healthcare...
We eliminate the guesswork from healthcare waste management
As medical waste partners to thousands of healthcare facilities across the United States, from physicians offices to surgical centers and multi-state hospitals, we make it our mission to help our customers optimize the safety, segregation and costs of their healthcare waste management even when we're not there! We're not your typical company that will just provide you with a contract, and send a truck once a month to pick up waste from your back loading dock... quite simply, we haven't done our job if we don't significantly impact your facilities' safety (including infection control), environmental and segregation outcomes!! Through education, best-in-class safety products, effective placement, and segregation training, we help you to optimize every aspect of your waste management to ensure your staff are protected and your costs are managed.
