Our team in Florida has been working around the clock to fortify our service support and infrastructure. 
 

We understand the critical role we play in supporting healthcare, and as we as a community navigate this unprecedented string of weather events impacting the state of Florida, we are doing everything we can to ensure contingency planning, customer support and service continuity. 

 

CUSTOMER UPDATE : 8TH OCTOBER 2024 


We understand the critical need to support your healthcare facility in providing uninterrupted care to your patients, and we have some important updates for you regarding service contingencies as we anticipate the landfall for Hurricane Milton.

First off, please rest assure that we’re doing everything we can to fortify our service infrastructure in line with our contingency plan, running around the clock to ensure major healthcare centers like yours are taken care of over the coming hours and days, including dropping off extra containers on our existing routes.

Because our Florida treatment plant is located in the line of the storm, we don’t know how severely we will be impacted over the next few days. However, we have contingency plans in place, and as a national service provider we aim to be operational as quickly as possible by leaning on our extended network of treatment facilities.

 

If you are expecting a service between Wednesday and Friday, your service will be impacted unless we’ve already communicated to you separately. Here’s what you can expect instead:

  • Expect a call from us early next week when it comes time to reschedule your service
     
  • If you do not require service until your next scheduled pick-up, please email us so we can redistribute our services to those in need. We'll see you at your next scheduled service.

 


Please also note that we are doing everything we can to prepare for and minimize any potential hazards that may come as a result of the storm. If you experience a hazardous waste spill please call this (non-Daniels) emergency hotline immediately at 1 800-424-9300.
