Some of America’s favorite movies are shot in Chicago; Trading Places with Eddie Murphy, the 1998 Blues Brothers film with its epic car chase, and for a bit of comedic relief, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off set in the fictional town of Shermer Illinois. If you do visit the movie set of Trading Places – the famous Board of Trade building where Eddie Murphy found his x-factor, you will pass our favorite coffee shop - Intelligentsia Coffee on West Jackson Boulevard, their Ethiopian pour-over is sensational!
